WARREN, OH (April 10, 2015) – Abruzzi Transmission and Torque Converters will be returning for their third season with the DSE Sportsman Racing Series offering contingency certificates to top points racers, as well as continuing to title sponsor the only Bracket oriented All-Star Race in all of Canada featured exclusively in the DSE Sportsman Racing Series.
Class Champions in Hill Racing/RPM Magazine Modified, Vinyl Window Designs Super Pro and HeadsUpRacer.com Quick 16 presented by Lowdown Hot Rods will all receive $300 certificates while second place will receive a $200 certificate and third place a $100 certificate in conjunction with other Cash and Prizes.
The 2nd Annual Abruzzi Transmission DSE All-Stars field will be comprised of the top 16 Points Earners based on the final four races of 2014 and first five races of 2015. The Top 5 All-Star point’s racers from both Super Pro and Modified; Top 3 points racers from Quick 16, Top 2 point’s racers from Street Eliminator and the Points leader from Super Bike/Sled will all qualify for the race. The field will be laddered ahead of time with Box classes on one side, and No Box/Bike-Sled on the other.
The Abruzzi Transmission All-Star Final will feature a match-up between the Box Side Champion and the No Box Side Champion who will square off for the Special All-Star Championship Trophy along with the $1000 Winner prize.
Additionally the DSE Sportsman Series will be raffling off an Abruzzi Racing Transmissions Custom built Torque Converter that will be awarded on Sunday September 6 during the 5th Annual Dragstar Components Labour Day Championships presented by Racecards.ca .
Racers and fans can buy tickets to enter the Raffle at the DSE Registration Trailer, or from the DSE Racing Team at any event they attend. Tickets are $10 for one or $20 for three.

The DSE Sportsman Racing Series boasts a (to date) $17,000 Year end points fund, and features a point’s structure where racers claim their best Eight out of 10 point’s races during the season.
