Sean McAlister, JDX Racing Driver Quote:
“I consider myself still in the early stages of my racing career, which began by attending a Skip Barber Racing School at Laguna Seca Raceway back in 2013. In 2015, I attended an advanced racing school, SimRaceway, which had a focus on open-wheel formula cars, I competed in their school series in both 2015 and 2016.”
“My first exposure to racing a Porsche came in 2016 when I raced in the Trophy West USA series, piloting the new Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport car. The car was amazing to drive and the technical help and support my team got at the track from PMNA [Porsche Motorsport North America] was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I continued racing the Cayman GT4 car in 2017 and our team won the inaugural 2017 WeatherTech Raceway SRO California 8 Hours in the GT4 category. For 2018, I transitioned to a Porsche Cup Car in the Platinum Class of the Trophy West USA series and won my first racing championship in a Porsche 911 last year.”
“Being the 2019 recipient of the IMSA Hurley Haywood GT3 Cup Scholarship Award is an amazing honor. The scholarship provides a great opportunity for young drivers such as myself, the chance to be a part of a distinguished racing series and championship that can be a springboard to a professional driving career.”
Jeremy Dale, Managing Partner, JDX Racing Quote:
