LONDON, Ontario (July 5, 2022)- — Taking the lead on an early race restart, TJ Edwards did not look back en route to winning the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It feature fueled by Touchwood Cabinets on Day 2 of OSCAAR Nationals at Delaware Speedway.

Marshall Schrenk won the first JRS Auctions heat followed by Jake Watson, Steve Trendell, Tyler Liscum, Paul Townsend, Herb Walters, Mark Hamacher, and Wally Wilson.

TJ Edwards was victorious in the second qualifier ahead of A.J. Emms, Dale Reinhart, Andy Kamrath, Bryan Batty, Tommy Robb, and Ryan Dick.

Come feature time, Tyler Liscum started pole in front of Marshall Schrenk, Dale Reinhart, Jake Watson, A.J. Emms, TJ Edwards, Andy Kamrath, Steve Trendell, Paul Townsend, Bryan Batty, Herb Walters, Tommy Robb, Mark Hamacher, Ryan Dick, and Wally Wilson.

Marshall Schrenk broke out to the early advantage in front of Watson and Edwards, with Edwards taking second on Lap 2 as Emms looked to follow him through. However, the first yellow flag waved on Lap 5 for Townsend and Walters getting tangled up together in turn four. With 26 laps to go, Schrnek led Edwards, Watson, Emms, Reinhart, Trendell, Batty, Kamrath, Liscum, Robb, Hamacher, Wilson, and Walters.

TJ Edwards got a good restart to grab the lead, with Emms slotting into second in front of Trendell and Schrenk, as Watson and Reinhart battled for fifth. Reinhart got the spot on Lap 7, bringing Kamrath through with him. Batty tried to follow as well, though wasn’t able to, as he remained eighth in front of Liscum, Robb, Hamacher, and Walters. Batty would challenge Watson once again on Lap 11, this time able to complete the pass three laps later.

The issues continued to plague drivers through the second half, with Hamacher climbing the backstretch wall, as well as both Walters and Wilson heading pit side with issues.

The front remained unchanged, as TJ Edwards led the rest of the way en route to victory lane in front of A.J. Emms, Steve Trendell, Marshall Schrenk, and Dale Reinhart.
