Reinhart got the spot on Lap 7, bringing Kamrath through with him. Batty tried to follow as well, though wasn’t able to, as he remained eighth in front of Liscum, Robb, Hamacher, and Walters. Batty would challenge Watson once again on Lap 11, this time able to complete the pass three laps later.
The issues continued to plague drivers through the second half, with Hamacher climbing the backstretch wall, as well as both Walters and Wilson heading pit side with issues.
The front remained unchanged, as TJ Edwards led the rest of the way en route to victory lane in front of A.J. Emms, Steve Trendell, Marshall Schrenk, and Dale Reinhart.
