Halifax, NS – (June 25, 2022) Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) won his third race of the season tonight at the Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150.

The win did not come easy as Slaunwhite had to battle Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS), the two were locked together side-by-side for the final laps until Slaunwhite was able to gain a small advantage coming through turn four on the final lap. Butcher had to settle for second. Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) was a top runner all day and was able to take the final spot on the podium. Marty Prevost (Fall River, NS) made his first start of the season on the Series, the veteran racer had a great showing with a fourth-place finish. Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) is showing great consistency and rounds out the night’s top-five.

Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races kicked off the action on the track. Stephen Lively (Shubenacadie, NS), and Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) won their Atlantic Tiltload heat races which set the field for the Nova Truck Centres Make A Wish 150.

Gary Elliott (Truro, NS) took home the Kenny U Pull Hard Charger award. Matt Vaughan (Bedford, NS) was the Fleet Brake Atlantic Lucky Dog. Cole Butcher won the R&D Performancentre Most Laps Led Award.

The Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends were first up on the racing card. Owen Mahar (Hubley, NS) was first under the checkers followed by Colton Noble (Nine Mile River, NS) and Gage Gilby (Enfield, NS).

The MacFarlands Industrial Bandolero cars put on a great 20 lap feature. Aiden Christensen (Windsor, Junction, NS) was first to complete the 20 laps, Dawson Noble (Nine Mile River) and Chase Livingston (Springhill, NS) completed the top three.
