#NCATS * @andrew_ranger * @OfficialMOPAR * No one has had more success in recent years at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières than Andrew Ranger.  This weekend Ranger will again be behind the wheel of the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge and is looking to capture his fifth victory in the NASCAR Canadian Tire series on the famed road course.

The Roxton Pond, Quebec native always enjoys racing in his home province but the level of success Ranger has achieved on the historic circuit is remarkable.  Ranger has finished on the podium in all seven series events winning four and as runner up in the other three.

“It’s fantastic to race on those streets at such a great event” said Ranger.  “The support of the fans is amazing and I’m looking forward to being back this weekend in the #27 Mopar Dodge”.

Andrew captured wins earlier this season in Rounds Three and Four, and sits third in the overall championship standings.  Ranger knows he has a great opportunity this weekend to collect another victory in the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge.

“I know we’ll have a very good car and we’ve done very well here in the past so this will be a good chance for us to do so again.  There are a lot of good cars and teams in the field so we’ll have to be smart.  It’s a chance for us to gain in the standings” stated Ranger

Practice and qualifying for the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières will take place Saturday August 9 and the race goes green Sunday afternoon at 3:30PM Eastern time and can be seen live on RDS2.
