September 17, 2014.  Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team head into the final round of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series this weekend at Kawartha Speedway near Peterborough, Ontario with the goal of collecting as many championship points as possible.  And of course the best way to accomplish that is to win the race.

Kawartha Speedway is a .375 mile banked oval that Ranger says really suits his driving style and he can’t wait to get the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge on track.

“It’s a track I really like, very fast where you can carry lots of speed in the corners” said Ranger.  “I’m really looking forward to getting back there again.”

While it has been several years since Ranger competed at Kawartha Speedway there is plenty of reason for optimism within the team.

“The last time I raced at the track was 2009″ and started on the front row” said Ranger.  “I led a lot of laps that day and we know the Mopar car has been fast this year and we want to finish the season on a positive note with our third win of the year”.

Ranger comes into the eleventh and final race of the season fourth in the overall championship, only six points behind third spot.
