MILLGROVE, ON – Flamboro Speedway would like to inform both competitors and fans alike that the upcoming Pot of Gold event, scheduled for Sunday, September 3, has been cancelled. The decision was made following a low interest of drivers for the Labour Day long weekend event.
The next event at Flamboro Speedway is taking place on Saturday, August 19, featuring the Monster Trucks All Out Tour. The next stock car racing event at Flamboro is taking place on Saturday, August 26, with the Bill Pickford Memorial for the Ontario Modified Racing Series. The night will also feature the Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks, T.Q. Can-Am Midgets, and Ontario Pro Challenge Series.
Meanwhile, Flamboro would also like to inform competitors and fans that the Super Stock division has been removed from the schedule for the remainder of the year. The decision was made after suffering from low car counts on a weekly basis.
