BRAMPTON, ON (September 12, 2014) –Plenty will be on the line this weekend as DSE Sportsman Series competitors head to Toronto Motorsports Park for the 3rd Annual DSE Championship finals with both Season Points titles and NHRA Wally’s courtesy of the National Dragster Challenge up for grabs during the final event of the 2014 season.
Point’s chases are tight in most of the categories, with only a few rounds separating some of the top racers in the DSE Bracket Classes. However, the pressure will certainly be on as points racers vie for position in order to get their share of the $23,000 plus dollars in cash and prizes that are offered in the DSE Year End Championship.
For many others it is the lure of an NHRA “Wally” Trophy that will bring them out to the final event, as competitors in Super Pro, Super Gas, Modified, Quick 16, Super Bike/Sled and Street Eliminator will all be taking home the coveted NHRA hardware for their Saturday class victories.
Adding to the prizes up for grabs on Saturday’s is Renegade Race Fuels with a free Case of Renegade Oil to each Wally Winner, and Competition Tires Canada, who will be giving away a set of Goodyear race slicks to the Saturday winner who records the best winning reaction time.
Also featured at the DSE Championship Finals will be the Stefko Racing Engines Super Gas Category for a Saturday only shoot-out. Some of the best 9.90 index racers from both the USA and Canada will square off for a chance to take home the NHRA Wally Trophy.
Gates will open Friday for the weekend event at 6 pm and close at 11 pm. Saturday and Sunday gates will re-open at 9:00 am with time trials and qualifying starting at 10:30 am with Modified Eliminator. For more information on gate times and pricing please, visit www.SportsmanRacingSeries.ca .
