PARKER THOMPSON:
“The Long Beach Grand Prix did not disappoint for Porsche Carrera Cup North America’s inaugural visit! It’s never a bad weekend when you stand on the box and move up in the Championship standings! Along with a podium, we kept the No.9 Shell TapUp / JDX Racing machine clean and straight the whole weekend. I think my Crew Chief Larry Ellert appreciated that. Now the focus is fully towards finishing off the West Coast swing with a win in Laguna.”

JEREMY DALE, MANAGING PARTNER/JDX RACING:
“It was great getting back to Long Beach with JDX Racing. We last raced there in 2012 when we were racing a 997 cup car in the IMSA GTC class. It’s an iconic event and we are all very happy it’s on our Carrera Cup North America schedule – hopefully for many years to come. This was our first street circuit race with the 992 cup car and while we are pleased to have come out of the weekend with good results, we were lacking a bit of pace and that always frustrates us. Parker did a great job staying near the front all weekend and that moved us up into a solid second in points – so we’re very pleased about that.”
