@OswegoSpeedway • @MAVTV • OSWEGO, NY (July 23, 2015) – Serving as an extra thread of excitement for the upcoming $5 admission, 65thAnniversary Special at Oswego Speedway on Saturday, August 8, the night’s action will be covered for national airing on MAVTV and Suzuki presents SPEED SPORT.
Ralph Sheheen, Derek Pernesiglio, and Dan Kapuscinski will once again bring race fans all the action from the ‘Steel Palace’, featuring a fast paced 45-lap Novelis Supermodified main event as well as 15-lap Semi-Final feature qualifiers for the Supermodifieds, all presented by JP Jewelers and RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting.
Oswego’s national television coverage will begin on MAVTV on Thursday, August 13 at 7 p.m. ET with the running of the Jim Shampine Memorial 75 for Novelis Supermodifieds and will return on Thursday, August 27 at 7 p.m. ET with the Jack Murphy Memorial 50 for the ISMA Supermodifieds.
MAVTV and Thomas Video Productions’ filming of the Anniversary Night special will be the second consecutive week of coverage at the Speedway on August 8, as for the second year in a row the Davis Bros. Inc. $10,000 to Win Mr. Novelis Supermodified on August 1 will also return to the national airwaves on MAVTV.
Air dates for the $10,000 to Win Mr. Novelis Supermodified, 65th Anniversary Night Special, and the Budweiser International Classic 200 will be announced as soon as they are available.
With the addition of the 65th Anniversary event to the MAVTV and Suzuki presents SPEED SPORT schedule, that makes for a total of five Oswego Speedway events currently gaining national exposure in 2015, up from three in 2014.
