MOSPORT, ON – Dwight Brown claimed is third feature victory of the season as he took the checkered flag in Round Four of the Ontario Modified Racing Series presented by Techtonix Construction.

The race, run on the half-mile paperclip oval of Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, ended under yellow and two laps shy of its scheduled 25-lap distance due to the extensive track cleanup required following a spectacular, oil-fueled fire beneath the #65b Mod of Jeff Bell. The event had previously been red flagged because of a five-car incident, the victims in the melee including points contender Darren Kearnan.

Early race leader Brad Stevenson (#77) crossed the stripe immediately behind Brown in second spot following a race long dice, with Rob Warnes (#95), father Rick Warnes (#90) and the ageless Bill Burrows (#65) rounding out the top five finishers.

With this victory, Brown pads his lead atop the series points standings with two dates remaining (August 25/ September 8) on the 2012 Techtonix Modified calendar.
