ST-EUSTACHE, QC – Just weeks after winning the NASCAR Pinty’s Series season opener at CTMP, current points leader Kevin Lacroix will be back on track for the tour’s first oval race of the season, on Saturday night at Delaware Speedway. The Choko / Fast Eddie 250 presented by Havoline takes place at the half-mile oval located near London, Ontario.
Kevin will be behind the wheel of a brand new #74 Bumper to Bumper / Total / Go Fast / PFC Brakes / Gates Corporation Dodge. The driver and everyone at Team Lacroix Motorsport are confident of another good outing.
“My goal is to run a clean race and to manage everything on the track efficiently. I am sure that the results will be better than last year, because I am more confident and I have more experience than during the 2016 season. With Don Thomson and Team Lacroix Motorsport’s good work, I have no doubt that the car will perform until the end of the race,” said Lacroix, still heady from his win at CTMP.
Although he is unfamiliar with the Delaware Speedway oval, this does not bother him, considering that the new car is prepped for oval circuits this year; there should be no problems. For Kevin, to lead the championship from the first race is a blessing, because he is much more relaxed knowing that he has no one to beat but himself.
Kevin wishes to thank his sponsors Bumper to Bumper, Total, Go Fast, PFC Brakes et Gates Corporation, without whom all this would not be possible. This year, his goal is nothing less than to win the NASCAR Pinty’s championship and to give back this victory to all those who have helped him in motorsport.
