September 6, 2013- At the start of the year, drivers plan a schedule of events they'll run during the upcoming season. Often, it's with a goal of earning points toward a track championship. Howie Crowe was a regular at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Speedway and when that track closed after the July 27th event, he was awarded the 2013 Thunder Car title. Without a regular Saturday night 'home', the veteran campaigner started looking for a new place to race.

September 6, 2013- The OSCAAR Super Late Models are set to make their first trip to Flamboro Speedway (Millgrove, Ont.) in three seasons on Saturday September 7. The series has not raced at Flamboro since Oktoberfest in 2009 where Jeff Hanley (No.70) was the winner.

Open-wheel modifieds have never competed at Flamboro under OSCAAR sanctioning, but several drivers have previous experience at the 1/3-mile Millgrove, ON-oval.

August 30, 2013- The Great Canadian Race Weekend kicked off with the ignition of one of the hottest rivalries to hit Delaware Speedway this season. No love was lost between Jeff Shower (#44) of Mt. Elgin and Darrell Lake (#77) of London as the pair found themselves in an aggressive competition for the lead in the Coca-Cola Super Stocks.

Delaware, ON- The Great Canadian Race has a new champion in its elite ranks. On Saturday afternoon at Delaware Speedway Matt Pritkio, age 25 from London, became the thirty-third winner of the event: the Keystone Light 200 presented by Sifton Properties. The race came down to a cage-match thriller between two-time Great Canadian Race winner Jesse Kennedy and Pritko (#21) in a green-white-checker scenario.

August 31, 2013- There may have been a party going on in the stands with the Mardi Gras themed race night, but there was nothing but serious racing going on trackside at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway Saturday night. Four drivers
made their way from south of the border, joining 18 others from Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba for the Dakato Dunes WCSLM Series race.

September 1, 2013- Following his back-to-back podium finishes, Castrol Edge Dodge driver DJ Kennington looked to continue his push toward the top of the championship standings at round number ten of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series this past Sunday. Kennington charged toward the front during the race and claimed his ninth top ten result of the season and regained the overall championship lead.
