Dowler Getting an Early Start to the Season in Florida

SHERWOOD PARK, AB - While it is still very much winter in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Racer Noel Dowler and the #5 EMCO-Rheem Dodge team are already putting the finishing touches on their race cars for their first events of the 2013 racing season.  In less than two weeks Dowler will be at Daytona International Speedway to compete in the first ever UNOH Battle at the Beach.  In addition, Dowler will also be competing at the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway during Speedweeks.

Martin Roy Recognized at the NASCAR Awards

CHARLOTTE, NC - This past weekend at the NASCAR Night of Champions Touring Series Awards Gala in Charlotte, NC NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Driver of the #90 Batteries Expert/Veloce/Gamache Truck Centre Dodge Martin Roy was recognized as the 2012 Rookie of the Year.  Achieving the award was a goal for Martin and the team at the start of the season and their success has only served to motivate the team further for 2013.

Kennington Honoured at NASCAR Night of Champions

CHARLOTTE, NC - Driver of the #17 Castrol Edge Dodge DJ Kennington was recognized for his superb season this past weekend at the annual NASCAR Night of Champions Awards Gala.  The event took place at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC and Kennington along with the race team were acknowledged for their tremendous season in which they set records for most victories and most top five finishes in a single season and Kennington claimed his second NASCAR Canadian Tire Series title.

2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Schedule Announced

 DAYTONA BEACH, FL – NASCAR announced today the 2013 schedule Canada's premier racing series, the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1. The schedule features 12 dates at 11 different tracks across five provinces. The slate includes tracks and events familiar to the series, but with a little different look for this edition.

"The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series features the top drivers in the country competing on Canada's finest stock-car racing circuits," said George Silbermann, NASCAR vice president, regional and touring series. "With a challenging mixture of ovals and road courses, and a new high-profile companion event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the 2013 calendar will continue to bring excitement to race fans from coast to coast."

NCATS: Kennington gets back on track at Riverside

ANTIGONISH, N.S. (Sept. 15, 2012) – D.J. Kennington bounced right back to the cusp of a second NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 championship. A week after a fuel pump failure took a large chunk of his points lead, the St. Thomas, Ont., driver dominated the Wilson Equipment 300 en route to his sixth win of the season. With the season-finale looming next week at Kawartha Speedway, Kennington looks to put the finishing touches on the 2012 championship to go along with the one he captured in 2010.
