OHSWEKEN, Ont. – August 2, 2017 – After a week hiatus following the most successful week in track history, Ohsweken Speedway returns to action on Friday, August 4 for Lucas Oil Night at the Race featuring the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints.

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - Steve Poirier said numerous times over the off-season he was coming back full-time in 2013 and was looking to regain the form that won him three prior Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint Championships.  Poirier was limited in 2012 due to a knee injury and missed much of the season rehabbing from that.

SYRACUSE, NY – As the official full point season for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) and its celebrated 30th Anniversary Tour is just two weeks away, the stable of returning sponsors makes this season another lucrative one for its competitors.

SYRACUSE, NY – The 2013 season for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints will turn into a celebration as it will be highlighted as the 30th Anniversary Tour.  A very exciting 28 dates at some 18 different tracks will see the very best from two nations come to a track near you.

THOROLD, ON - The Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints made quite a return to Merrittville Speedway on Saturday, June 30, with Lance Yonge taking home the Gary Cunningham Memorial A Main Victory.

THOROLD, ON - Lance Yonge has been saying all year that he’d like to have a chance to start up front. The veteran campaigner from Penn Yan, NY has started near the back of the field all year long after drawing poorly at the start of the night.

GRANBY, QC – Montrose, NY’s Justin Barger came in to the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) event Friday night at Autodrome Granby as the current point leader.  When the checkered flag fell on the first Le Groupe Ultra Tour of Canada/Fondations 4 Saisons Quebec Super Star Series event he won easily over a star studded field at the famed ½ mile oval.

SYRACUSE, NY – For some of the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) teams, the first on track action is this Saturday, March 24th at the famed Selinsgrove Speedway as the Mach 1 Series kicks off. The 25 lap A-Main will pay a cool $2,500 to win and $250 to start which will bring a stout field of 360 sprint cars. The Mach 1 Series is formed by Brian Scandle and Mark Smith which consists of six races with five of them coming at Selinsgrove and one being held at the Lincoln Speedway. ESS will have a part in four of the events which caps off at the National Open on Sept. 1st that pays a whopping $8,000 to the winner.
