PORT COLBORNE, ON - Starting on the front row for the 25-lap COSCO HAULAGE DIRTcar Sportsman series at Humberstone Speedway on Friday, July 13, was Jeff Armstrong with Dave Flannigan Jr. alongside of him. On the drop of the green flag from starter John Veach, Armstrong had the early lead coming out of turn two but it was Flannigan with the point coming across the start-finish line to lead lap one.

Humberstone Speedway does not drop the green flag on the 2012 season until May 4, but several drivers from the 4/10-mile clay oval are getting the jump on the season with a six-car presentation at Welland, ON's Seaway Mall from April 2 to mall closing on April 8.
