#NASCAR * DAYTONA BEACH, FL - For those fortunate enough to have visited a short track in Canada, one thing is for certain, Canadian fans love stock car racing. One of the unique characteristics of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series is that it is not limited to within the borders of the United States, and that is one reason Gord Shepherd can celebrate a second consecutive NASCAR track championship won at Barrie Speedway. The 35 year old driver also claimed the provincial title in Ontario.

Republic Live, producers of the Boots and Hearts Music Festival and recent purchasers of the Burl's Creek Family Event Grounds, has finalized a deal that will expand their property to include neighbouring Barrie Speedway.

BARRIE, Ontario – Terry Woodley would have a good run at Barrie Speedway on Saturday night as he would score the victory in the B-Main before the show was called as a result of weather.

Barrie, ON (Septmeber 6, 2014)- Saturday's running of the Wahta Springs 300 at Barrie Speedway was event number 10 of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil1 2014 tour.  Steckly had a strong run going early when during the middle stages of the race they suffered a parts failure that would put them behind the wall for repairs for several laps.

September 6, 2014-  Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team were looking for championship points during round number ten of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series at Barrie Speedway located just north of Barrie, Ontario on Saturday night.  Unfortunately a mechanical problem cut short the race for Ranger and the team.

September 6, 2014.  Joey McColm and Canada's Best Racing Team welcomed PartSource and the Toronto Maple Leafs back aboard the #25 CBRT car for round number ten of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series at Barrie Speedway just north of Barrie, ON this past weekend.  Just as it was the week before they were great combination as McColm collected another strong race result.

@barriespeedway • BARRIE, ON – Mother nature blessed Barrie Speedway's drivers and fans with a picturesque day for racing on May 24; the third night of the 2014 race season. The biggest story of the night came in the Wahta Springs Late Model division, as #00 Darryl St. Onge (Barrie, ON) recorded the win in the 30 lap finale.
