The features started out with the Brighton Automotive Pro Stocks, #2 Leslie Mowat started on the Pole and would lead the first half of the event. Due to rain showers earlier in the day the track was extremely tacky and fast on Saturday night. Mowat was taking full advantage of it holding off the cars behind her while running through the middle of the track. However on lap 12 coming out of turn two Mowat would make a tiny mistake and the car would bobble. That one mistake was all that #72 Doug Anderson would need as he took advantage and drove underneath Mowat for the lead. Anderson would go on to lead the next 8 laps for his 8th victory of the season.
The OILgard Anti Rust Canadian Modified 25 lap feature started with the #12 of Adam Whaley and #74 of Mike Lucas on the pole. Lucas would take advantage of his starting spot and would jump out to the lead. Once again running the high side Lucas looked in control of the event until current point's leader #33 Ryan Scott moved to second and started to pressure him. Lucas would hold Scott off for about 10 laps until lap 17 when lapped traffic would play a part and hold Lucas up just enough for Scott to duck under him. The battle for third was also heating up between #11 Dan Ferguson and #87 Andrew Hennessy. The two battled side by side for the last half of the race and on the last lap both drivers got by Lucas who once again got tied up behind lapped traffic with Ferguson holding on for second and Hennessy taking third.
Up next was the Gord's Water Vantastics with 12 mini vans participating in a 12 lap race with a tire obstacle on the front straight. Drivers were instructed to go between the large tractor tires that were on the front straight, some did it better than others. The #7 Rick Phillips however navigated the tires successfully but got a flat on the last lap and started to lose some positions after leading the entire race. Even though he was not the first to cross the line, he was the first driver to cross the line and not be docked laps. Phillips made his way to victory lane flat tire and all!
The Vanderlaan Building Supplies Pro Late Models had a new winner again this week. At the end of their 30 lap feature race it was an excited #42 Adam Nayler standing in victory lane for his first career Late Model win. Nayler started in row two and quickly made his way into second place. He would chase pole sitter #12 Kyle Sopaz for a number of laps. Sopaz was running down low and Nayler up high when going into turn one Sopaz would drift up a little causing Nayler to get into the back of him just slightly. That slight tap was enough to get Sopaz a little out of shape and Nayler would go around the high side. Nayler did a good job controlling two restarts during mid-race cautions and looked to be well in control until #57 Charlie Sandercock moved into second. Sandercock would put a lot of pressure on Nayler but Nayler running the high side was able to hold him off! Sandercock would finish second with the #46 Bandon Mowat coming home third. Nayler is the eighth different winner in 12 feature events for the Late Model division.
Finishing up the night was the Bill's Johns Comp 4 feature, and they decided to leave an impression with the fans. Coming off turn two on lap 5 race leader #11 Adam Flieler would lose the water out of his engine in turn four creating a hazard for the field behind him. #78 Shelby Mills hit the water, slid up the track hard into the wall. This started a chain reaction and as her blue civic was pounded into by four more cars. Including #08 Josh French ending up on top of the #43 Tom Vance. The Red flag was thrown immediately and all drivers were checked OK. The drivers may have been good but Mills car had to be carried off on the fork lift it was so damaged. When the race resumed it was the #7 of Adam Chapman who took over the lead from Flieler. Chapman was running up high on the cushion and was being pressured by #36 Stephen Giza. Chapman who is a rookie in the class looked like a veteran and didn't crack under pressure. Chapman would hold on for his first career win, followed by Giza and #19 Brandon Murrell.
