This week, the Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada (VARAC) named famed Canadian veteran racer, Ludwig Heimrath as Grand Marshal for its 2013 Canadian Historic Grand Prix.

February 5, 2013- The Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada (VARAC) is gearing up for what promises to be the biggest, most exciting and best-attended event in its history. The Canadian Historic Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious events on the Vintage and Historic Racing Calendar in North America and it is the largest and most popular event of its kind in Canada and counted as a "Major Spectator Event" at Mosport since 1999.

On Saturday, November 10, VARAC (Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada) will honour its champions at its Annual General Meeting. The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel, in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Based in Ontario, VARAC is the premier Vintage Automobile Road Racing Club in Canada with members from the Prairie Provinces, the US, Europe and, of course, Ontario and Quebec.

TORONTO, ON – VARAC returns to Mont Tremblant in full force this weekend to celebrate the much anticipated Fall Classic races. A large contingent of over 65 VARAC racecars representing both the Vintage/Historic and Group 70+ classes from Ontario and Quebec make their way to the track nestled in the beautiful Laurentian mountains of Quebec. This event is the seventh points race counting towards the VARAC Drivers Championship.

TORONTO, ON – VARAC continues its whirlwind tour of eastern Canadian race tracks on their stop at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for the British Empire Motor Club (BEMC) Indian Summer Trophy Races on September 15/16, 2012. As a special event that does not contribute to the VARAC points championship, VARAC's Vintage/Historic and Group 70+ cars (under 2500lbs) will combine together to form one grid and race for fun in front of fans and fellow regional competitors.

TORONTO, ON – Fresh from racing at the Legends of Motorsports Powered by HMSA at Mt. Tremblant last weekend, VARAC returns to its feature track, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, to participate in the BARC-OC Canadian Touring Races on August 4-5, 2012.

Legends of Motorsports Powered by HMSA kick off their 3rd season at historic Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant, Quebec this weekend (July 27-29, 2012) and the Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada will be the top grid representing Ontario and Quebec race car drivers and their historic race cars. The Mont-Tremblant circuit is one of the most legendary world-class racing facilities in North America and has hosted many of the world's most famous drivers, cars and series.
