MILLGROVE, ON- Flamboro Stadium and Speedway is opening a Hall of Fame, Museum and Archives with the first inductees to be enshrined this November. We are looking for anything interesting for the Museum including photos, old newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, old programs and racing newspapers and personal items such as driver trophies, race suits, helmets and anything Flamboro related that we can display.

TONIGHT: Monday Night Gold Rush at Flamboro Speedway

Flamboro Speedway will host NASCAR Star Kenny Wallace and a collection of Ontario's top racing talent tonight (Monday, August 20), when the green flag flies on the 100 lap Lap Model invitational. There's a $10,000 dollar challenge up for grabs with a guaranteed $5,000 cash prize to the winner; and great prizes for advanced ticket holders. Kenny Wallace autographs 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.. Time trial qualifying at 7 p.m. The Feature race starts at 8 p.m.

Mack DeMan sweeps TQ field in season opener

Mack DeMan was the class of the field for the Lucas Oil Can-Am Midgets' first race of their 47th season at Flamboro Speedway (Ont.). Starting 3rd after qualifying with a win in his heat race, DeMan took the lead on lap 7 from Chris Holman and walked away from the field.

Spira Racing Team: Week #1 Update from Flamboro Speedway

The Spira Racing Team continued to work well into the night before their first night of racing for the 2012 season, to install decals and make adjustments from the practice sessions the previous week. One of the main reasons for being later than usual completing the cars, was the completion of the #44 Conestoga Roofing Mustang for the newest member of the Spira Team. Scott Simmons, a 19 year old from Cambridge, joined the team after 4 years of go-karting and his project was a major rebuild from a car that was in very bad shape. The rebuild consisted of stripping the car to the bare bones and rebuilding it almost from scratch.
