The Ontario Legends Series recently revealed their 16-race schedule, which will feature three visits to the 1/3-mile semi-banked asphalt oval through the summer.
It marks the series’ first visit to the facility since Frostoberfest in October 2018, when Matt Haufe scored the victory in dominating fashion, after getting by Kevin Foisy on an early race restart. Although the No. 44 cruised away from the field, the action was still exciting for the fans to watch with several battles for positions, including a pass for fifth in the closing five laps.
The series will make their first visit to Flamboro on July 11, followed by another trip to the Millgrove, Ontario-based oval on September 12. They will then return as part of Flamboro’s Frostoberfest weekend, with them in action on October 3. This event will be critical in terms of the series championship, being the second to last event.
Each of their events promises to be filled with excitement, as they featured over 20 cars at each of their dates last year.
This announcement just increases the excitement ahead of 2020 after hearing details revealed between a pair of visits for the APC Series, and the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds having their first opportunity to chase after the Frostoberfest soap carvings trophy. You also cannot forget the opportunity for the Klotz Auto Repair & Machine Shop Mini Stocks to chase after $1,000 as part of the Gold Rush.
The rest of the details for the entire 2020 schedule will be revealed by track officials closer to the start of the season.
The full schedule once released, along with any other information you may inquire about, can be found on the track’s website at http://www.flamborospeedway.ca.
