Canadian IndyCar star James Hinchcliffe will be at the Canadian Motorsports Expo on Sunday, February 12
James Hinchcliffe missed appearing at last year's Canadian Motorsports Expo because he was taking part in an IndyCar test at Florida's Sebring International Raceway. In the time since that test, Hinchcliffe has been extremely busy, and he'll have a lot to talk about when he takes to the CME's Mazda Stage on Sunday, February 12.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Andretti Autosport announced today it has signed Canadian James Hinchcliffe to a multi-year IZOD IndyCar Series deal. Hinchcliffe, a young, yet accomplished racer, steps into a big role as driver of the GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for 2012. In his first year in the IZOD IndyCar Series, Hinchcliffe took three top-five and seven top-10 finishes to earn the series' Rookie of the Year title despite missing the season-opener in St. Petersburg, Fla. Hinchcliffe, a 25-year-old from Toronto with both British and Canadian lineage, finished fourth at the 2011 Long Beach, New Hampshire and Kentucky races.

INDIANAPOLIS (Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012) - INDYCAR announced today that Beaux Barfield has accepted the position of Race Director for the IZOD IndyCar Series. He will begin his duties immediately. Barfield, a native of Houston, has served as race director of the American Le Mans Series since August 2008. He previously worked as a Champ Car race steward (2003-2008) during which he served as Race Director of the Champ Car-sanctioned Atlantic and Trans Am series. Barfield was also chief steward for the USF2000 National Championship from 2001-2003.
