KAWARTHA: Horse racing to end on March 30

FRASERVILLE, ON - According to a report in Monday's Peterborough Examiner, horse racing will come to an end at Kawartha Downs on March 30. The story quotes facility owner Harvey 'Skip' Ambrose as telling CHEX-TV, "Horse racing will end. We at Kawartha Downs are unable to meet those terms. At this point, there is no transition funding that can be secured."
