Orono, ON- It was nearly a three race winning streak, beginning Saturday, August 2 in Dart Heating and Air Conditioning victory lane at Peterborough Speedway, but a fifth place effort the next day at Sunset Speedway, just north of Toronto got in the way. The next checkered flag came Wednesday, August 6 at Capital City Speedway in Stittsville, with another Saturday, August 9 at Sunset. The Capital City and Sunset wins were the first career main event victories at each venue for the driver known as "The Show Stopper".

Fraserville, ON- Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Grassroots Racing Series has been forced to make a change to the schedule that was released when the original eight race agenda was first announced. The planned Sunday, July 6 show has been cancelled and action will now resume Friday, July 18 with a four-division program featuring 4Fun, Mini Stock, Thunder Car and Late Model racing.

FRASERVILLE, ON • Building on the momentum of an enthusiastic start, the Grassroots Racing Series at Kawartha Speedway is ready for the schedule's second event Sunday, June 15th.Derek Lynch, John Baker Jr., Tyler Junkin, Andrew Massey and Kevin Foisy have etched their names in the motorsports history books after claiming checkered flags in the Late Model, Thunder Car, Mini Stock, 4Fun and Ontario Legend divisions during the opening round of action. Series organizer and promoter Andrew McFadden says he was happy with the first show, but understands there is still some work to be done to build the Grassroots Racing brand.
