As part of the multi-pronged agreement, Inside Track will prominently cover the series’ events and feature its racers and partners in print and across ITMN’s digital platforms. Additionally, CHU will be featured in a series of full-page advertisements in Inside Track, Canada’s only national printed motorsports publication.
Discussing the news, CHU promoter Ian Hill of Ian Hill Racing Promotions said, “We’re excited to be working with Inside Track Motorsport News to grow the Canada Heads Up Street Car Shootout Series. We know this will be beneficial to both sides and we’re looking forward to exposing our series, racers and sponsors to a wider audience of Canadian racing fans.”
Speaking on behalf of Inside Track, co-publisher David Weber said, “We’ve had past dealings with Ian Hill through our Toronto Motorama show and everything he does is first-rate. We’ve been looking for a way to expand our commitment to Canadian drag racing and it’s a natural to do that working with Ian and his team via the fast-growing Canada Heads Up series.”
In addition to the items outlined below, Inside Track will have associate sponsor level status with CHU, with decals on all series cars. As well, all registered CHU competitors will receive subscriptions to ITMN. Veteran Inside Track contributor Blake Farnan – who is the series lead photographer – will continue to provide CHU pictures and content to the magazine and its websites.
