As well, fans, family and crew members who subscribe using the promo code "racer" will be able to nominate their favourite Canadian racer, giving him/her additional opportunities to win the sponsorship cash and prize package. The more people who nominate you, the more chances you have to win!
Inside Track will have promotional displays in the pits and/or the grandstands at select events this season, including the Canadian Short Track Nationals and the Pinty’s Fall Brawl at Jukasa Motor Speedway, the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at Ohsweken Speedway, Sunset Speedway’s Velocity weekend, Flamboro Speedway’s Frostoberfest and Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic.
Racers and supporters in attendance at these events can sign up for subscriptions. As well, racers and fans from across Canada can subscribe at insidetrack.mysub.ca using the promo code "racer", thereby making themselves or their favourite racer eligible to win.
“For the past few years, we’ve focussed our promotional efforts on the fans. We decided it was time to do something directly for the racers,” said Inside Track’s promotions manager Lindsey Broad. “Every issue of Inside Track is packed with content featuring Canadian racers and we want to make sure they know what we’re doing. So, please come see us in the pits, subscribe and get a great deal on the only magazine in the world that puts Canadian racing first, and make you or your favourite racer eligible for the $5,000 Inside Track Sponsorship Package.”
In addition to the $4,000 cash prize, the winning racer will also receive a free ‘Thank your sponsors, crew, family and fans’ ad in Inside Track Motorsport News. The winner will also get a free space in The Racers’ Corral at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo, including free hotel accommodations for the weekend, which runs March 13-15, 2020 at Toronto’s International Centre. The magazine will also supply decals to the racer to place somewhere on his/her race car. The sponsorship doesn’t have to be exclusive or primary, so Inside Track will join the team’s existing partners on the vehicle.
