We caught up with the Tiverton, ON driver and asked about his 5 victories this season, how happy he is with his program, and what his plans are for the rest of the season. 'Marvellous' Marvin Freiburger (above, by TW Robarts Photography) was all smiles post-race, after earning an impressive third place finish in the talent-laden Dash for Cash field. Freiburger was quick to tell us how content he is with his program, and explained some of the growing pains his team has experienced transitioning from the Thunder Car division to a Ltd. Late Model. 'Livewire' Nick Goetz (above, by TW Robarts Photography) overcame difficulties in heat race qualifying to come home with a 5th place finish. In a Thunder Car field that included reigning Autumn Colours Classic champion Smokin' Joe Adams, multi-time Sauble titlist Todd Davenport and perennial contender Ken Grubb, it was former Pro Late Model regular Steve Ecker (above, by TW Robarts Photography) that surprised with a trip to victory lane. The veteran, piloting a former Shawn Arnott-owned entry, led all 40-laps of competition for the resounding victory. His interview can be found here.
