Pearn was a second-generation racer from Mt. Brydges, Ontario and was well-known to Canadian fans as a competitor at Delaware Speedway and in the CASCAR Super Series (now the NASCAR Pinty's Series).
Armed with a passion for racing and a mechanical engineering degree, Pearn headed south and worked for several NASCAR teams before landing at the Denver, CO-based Furniture Row Racing team, where he eventually became crew chief for Martin Truex Jr.
After coming close to the title in 2016, the team earned the biggest prize in stock car racing last fall at Homestead-Miami Speedway when the won the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series title.
Congratulations to Cole on all his success and good luck the rest of the year, and thanks for taking time to chat with Kendra Adams during your busy race weekend.
