CYPRESS, CA (May 19, 2017) — Motul, an international developer and manufacturer of machine lubricants spanning from transmission fluids and break fluids, to coolants and antifreezes, this week was officially announced as the official lubricant partner of the Canadian Rally Championship, a yearly rally series that is based out of Canada.
The announcement came after Motul signed a two-year oil partnership, functioning as the official lubricant partner for the championship series in both 2017 and 2018. The first event they will participate in kicks off this May.
Borne from a passion for providing high-quality, expertly designed and developed lubricants of all varieties to consumers and organizations worldwide, Motul is constantly looking for international partnerships that give them the opportunity to showcase the technological benefits of their products.
“We are thrilled we can associate Motul with the CRC and reach its very exciting reach of new consumers and fans.” said Guillaume Pailleret, President of Motul North America. “Motul has a passion for Canada, and for Rally; we are thrilled to be part of the CRC, and to support the Subaru factory team SRTC.”
“We are really pleased to be announcing Motul as the official lubricant partner of the Canadian Rally Championship. Motul have a long history in motorsport and we look forward to having the Motul brand associated with the CRC”, says John Hall, President of the Canadian Association of Rallysport. “For competitors that want the very best in high performance fluids, or for fans that expect the same level of lubricant performance as the racers, Motul is the clear choice”.
Motul finds this Canadian series partnership to perfectly complement their activity as the official sponsor of the factory Subaru Rally Team Canada (SRTC). CRC presents the opportunity for the SRTC to demonstrate the technical strengths of Motul’s engine oils and lubricants.
“Partnering with both the SRTC and the Canadian Rally Championship will present the North American Motul operation with invaluable exposure to rally participants and fans,” said Li-Jay Chu, the Communications & Activation Manager for North America.
