#NCATS * #CBRT25 * @CBRTinc * Joey McColm and Canada’s Best Racing Team are back in action with a new partner this weekend. McColm will pilot the #25 MV-1 Canada Dodge this coming weekend for round number seven of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières. MV-1 Canada is the manufacturer of the world’s first factory-built accessible vehicle.
McColm has raced on the streets previously and knows there are several keys to success the #25 MV-1 Canada Dodge team will have to be aware of.
“It’s a tricky place” said McColm. “It’s tight, technical with a lot of good racers in the field patience will be a key as well,” he added.
Now into the second half of the racing season McColm and the #25 MV-1 Canada Dodge team also expect to improve their position in the overall standings.
“We’re sitting eighth overall right now but the performance of everyone on the team has jumped up significantly since the start of the year and I’m hoping for some very good results down the stretch”.
This will be the 45th year for the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivières and McColm can’t wait to have the #25 MV-1 Canada Dodge on track.
“The fans make this event special, it’s absolutely electric. They’re knowledgeable and come out in huge numbers to support it, the whole city is alive,” he stated.
The #25 MV-1 Canada Dodge team hits the track for practice and qualifying on Saturday and the race takes place Sunday afternoon at 3:30PM local time.
