#NCATS * #CBRT25 * @CBRTinc * Joey McColm and Canada’s Best Racing Team return to Toronto Maple Leaf blue this weekend as the NASCAR Canadian Tire series returns to action at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for round number nine. McColm will be in the #25 PartSource/Toronto Maple Leafs car this past weekend and looking to continue his move up the championship standings.
The #25 PartSource/Toronto Maple Leafs car made its debut during the series opening round in May and McColm is looking for even better results this weekend.
“We’ve got over 100 PartSource guests that we’re hosting this weekend which is great and we’re expecting another solid outing,” said the driver.
McColm sits eighth in the overall standings heading into this weekend’s race and expects to improve that standing. “We’ve had some good races and improved our performance as the year has gone on,” explained McColm. “There’s no reason to expect anything less in the final month of the season.”
Joining McColm once again this weekend as a teammate will be New Liskeard, Ontario driver Steve Mathews in the #87 TSC Stores car. The two worked together nicely during the opening round and McColm is happy to have him back again.
“Steve has shown plenty of speed every time he’s been in the car and it’s good to have another perspective, it helps us both,” he stated.
Action gets going with practice and qualifying on Saturday and the teams will take the green flag for the Clarington 200 on Sunday morning at 10AM immediately prior to the NASCAR Truck series race.
