TORONTO, Oct. 2, 2012 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada announced sales for September 2012 today, posting the fifth consecutive month of growth with a total of 6,729 vehicles sold, representing a 15% increase over September 2011.
Mazda3 sales jumped 38% in September with a total of 4,278 sold, bringing the year-to-date total to 32,380. Sales of the Mazda3 were led by SKYACTIV Technology models, which represented 70% of all Mazda3 sales in September. “Mazda is committed to bringing the best driving experience to Canadian customers, and this experience includes excellent fuel efficiency, quality vehicle craftsmanship, and dynamic driving excitement behind the wheel,” said Vito Paladino, Director, Sales Operations, Mazda Canada. “SKYACTIV Technology allows us to enhance every single part of the thrill of driving, which is what Canadians have come to expect from Mazda vehicles.”
