MOORESVILLE, NC – Maryeve Dufault’s No. 04 C2M Dodge Charger will be sporting a new look for the season finale ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event at Kansas Speedway on October 19, 2012. The No. 04 livery will showcase Dufaults’ partnership with Valvoline NextGen motor oil with a green and white paint scheme and also support Breast Cancer Awareness month by wrapping the cars’ bumpers in the iconic pink.
Dufault, a Sorel, Quebec native, will return to the No. 4 seat at Kansas for her 19th ARCA race and is the only Canadian among the 40 drivers entered for the Kansas Lottery 98.9 event. “I am really excited to get back on the track,” said Dufault. “Valvoline is a great partner and I am thrilled to be racing the NextGen entry at Kansas and hope that I can have a good result for their first ARCA race with me. I am looking forward to the race, but I am also glad to be able to get the word out about Valvoline’s NextGen motor oil. It is a great product that can do so much good for the environment and I’m glad to be able to help share the message with the fans.” Dufault also is glad to be doing her part to highlight awareness of Breast Cancer with the pink bumpers on the No. 4 NextGen Dodge Charger. “Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the United States and they say that awareness and early detection of symptoms is one of the key things in the fight against breast cancer,” explained Dufault. “So this weekend I am doing my part by running the pink bumpers to raise awareness and remind people that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and hopefully there will be brighter future with no breast cancer for little girls like my Goddaughter .”
Dufault most recently drove the No. 04 C2M entry at Salem Speedway where she ran as high as 8th before a lapped car and his bold move cut her night short and she finished 23rd. “The team at C2M has been fabulous to work with this year,” said Dufault. “We really have great synergy and at Salem, they gave me a car that I could run anywhere on the track because it was that good so I’m looking forward to this weekend in Kansas and hoping we have a good result.”
Dufault will be in the car when practice and qualifying for the Kansas Lottery 98.9 at Kansas Speedway gets underway on Friday, October 19 in preparation for the 150 mile race on Friday night. The race will be shown live on Speed at 8:30 p.m. ET.
