The 60th running of the “Leavitt Machinery” Knox Mountain Hillclimb will take place May 20-21, 2017 in the city of Kelowna, BC at Knox Mountain Park.
A Canadian racing institution, the Knox Mountain Hillclimb is the longest annually running paved hillclimb in North America and attracts the top drivers from throughout BC, Alberta and the Northwest United States.
The hillclimb is 3.5 km long and features a 245-metre climb with a total of nine turns from bottom-to-top. Cars are run one at a time, each trying to reach record the lowest elapsed time. Drivers/cars compete in various classes, from open-wheel formula cars to various sports car and sedan classes.
