ST. JOHN’S, NL – Targa Newfoundland, Canada’s premier off track rally event, is pleased to announce that Inside Track Communications, the publishers of Inside Track Motorsport News, is partnering with Targa to produce the Official Targa Newfoundland Fan & Media Guide for the 2013 and 2014 events.
The Fan & Media Guide will feature news and information about Targa Newfoundland, which is one of Canada’s most unique and prestigious motorsports events. In addition to being a coveted collector’s piece commemorating Targa, it will also be an indispensable reference resource containing schedules, maps, driver bios & rosters, technical information, Targa history, stage guides, interesting profiles and more. Printed versions of the Official Targa Newfoundland Fan & Media Guide will be distributed in the region prior to and during the event. It will also be available as a free electronic flipbook on the Targa Newfoundland and Inside Track websites.
“Inside Track provides a whole new look that is consistent with the top professional coverage that Targa Newfoundland receives from international media,” stated Robert Giannou, President of Newfoundland International Motorsports Limited, the operators of Targa. “In addition to producing Canada’s top motorsports magazines, Inside Track also publishes the official programs for most of Canada’s biggest racing series and events, including the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, the Canadian Touring Car Championship, the MOPAR Canadian Superbike Championship, the Rally of the Tall Pines and several others. We’re excited to be working with them and we’re confident the result will be a world class product that will be well received by our fans, partners and competitors, in 2013 and 2014. We encourage our sponsors and anyone interested in connecting with Targa Newfoundland’s fans to consider supporting the Official Targa Newfoundland Fan & Media Guide.”
Speaking on behalf of Inside Track, Sales Manager Mike Galipeau said, “We’ve been fans of Targa Newfoundland since its inception. The event has been an annual editorial highlight in fall issues of Inside Track Motorsport News and we’re proud to work with Robert Giannou, his staff, and the drivers and sponsors to help promote Canada’s Targa event to motorsports enthusiasts in Newfoundland and across Canada. Targa Newfoundland is on a growth curve and we’re looking forward to producing an entertaining and informative piece that captures the energy of the event, and is reflective of its exciting new brand and image.”
