@NewHumberstone • PORT COLBORNE, ON (July 26, 2015)- Race Recap from New Humberstone Speedway for July 26, 2015.

Gary Lindberg from Ridgeway, Ontario won his fourth feature of the season in the PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman on Rankin Construction Night at the Humberstone Speedway. Dennis Lunger Jr from Albion, Pennsylvania won his eighth Pinty’s RUSH Late Models feature of the season. Bill Bleich Jr from Port Robinson, Ontario picked up his third JC Auto Street Stock feature event of the season.  Kyle Rothwell from Welland, Ontario earned his fourth Cosco Haulage Mini Stock feature. Jeff Armstrong and AJ Lewis brought the field of PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman to the green flag for their main event with Armstrong showing the way early. Jordan Cosco lost a wheel and came to a stop in turn two to bring out the races first caution. Armstrong would continue to show the way off the restart with Adam Leslie in second. Gary Lindberg would race his way to third with AJ Lewis and Austin Wood running in the top five. Leslie and Lindberg would battle for several circuits and would clear Leslie to take over second on lap 14. Lindberg would then pass Armstrong on lap 17 to take over the lead. Lindberg would open up the lead over Leslie, and Wood. Lindberg would drive on to his fourth victory of the season.

Paul Grigsby and Jeff Dayman led the Pinty’s RUSH Late Models to the green flag for their feature event with Grigsby showing the way early over Rob Pietz. Pietz would go underneath Grigsby and the duo would go side by side for several circuits. Pietz’s hard work would pay off as he would take over the lead on lap six, just before Tim Gillespie would bring out the races first caution. The restart would see Grigsby and Dayman making contact with Grigsby going over the edge of turn one to slow the field one more time. Pietz would jump out front with Dayman in second and Dennis Lunger Jr racing his way into third place. Pietz would hit an inside implement tire and the front end would come up, causing steering issues and bringing out the caution, handing the lead to Lunger. On the restart, Lunger would jump out front with Luke Carleton and Sam Pennacchio racing inside the top three. Pennacchio would slow on the front stretch, bringing out the caution. Lunger and Colton Ledingham would battle for the lead in the late stages but Lunger was able to drive on to pick up the win.

Steve Robison and Chris Crawford shared the front row for the JC Auto Street Stocks feature event with Crawford leading the way over Bill Bleich Jr with Dave Bailey, and Jim Lampman in tow. Bill Bleich Jr would go underneath Crawford for the lead and would complete the pass to take over the lead on lap six as Jason Fontaine would move into third place. Fontaine would clear Crawford for second on lap nine. Bleich and Fontaine would pull away from Crawford. Bleich would open up his lead and would beat Fontaine to pick up the win.

Kyle Rothwell and Tyler Lafantaisie led the Cosco Haulage Mini Stocks with Rothwell showing the way. Rob Goulding would move into second and the lead duo would go side by side for several circuits. Rob Goulding would take over the lead but Rothwell would challenge and regain the lead. The duo would come side by side to the finish line with Rothwell grabbing the win by mere inches over Goulding.
