Hoosier Stock teams week in and week out provide Saturday Night Race Fans with some of the most exciting side by side action of all of all of the Thorold Dirt Track’s Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Divisions.
“With our recent rules agreements between Ohsweken and Humberstone Speedways and ourselves – the future looks bright,” anticipates (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “we are extremely confident that car counts will quickly return to strong fields … Hoosier Tire Canada’s continued support is sure to help!”
In 2015, Hoosier Stock Division Qualifying Heat Winners that are Merrittville Speedway Members will receive $20.00 Vouchers redeemable towards the purchase of Hoosier Tires providing that Hoosier Tires are on all four corners.

When the 64th season is complete, the Hoosier Stock Top 10 in the Point Standings will share in a base point fund with the breakdown as follows: 1) $600.00, 2) $425.00, 3) $350.00, 5) $300.00, 6. $275.00, 7) $250.00, 8) $225.00, 9) $200.00, 10) $150.00.
The above base point fund will see increases once agreements have been reached with returning and new partners in the 2015 Driver Contingency Program.
In addition to the point fund monies, top point finishers will also receive trophies with the 2015 Champion also presented with a custom Championship Ring (valued at $1,000) and a Championship Jacket.
For more than a decade, Merrittville Speedway’s Hoosier Stocks have challenged the Brighton Speedway Pro Stocks in the Duel on the Dirt Series and for 2015 the series that annually showcases the best full-fendered racing in the province will get even more lucrative with Ohsweken Speedway’s Thunder Stocks and the Street Stocks from Humberstone Speedway joining the challenge.
Two Home Track Events and a 50 lap $1,000 to win Combined Special lead up to a Point Fund to be shared between the Top drivers in the 2015 Duel on the Dirt. More to follow on the new 2015 Edition of the Duel on the Dirt .
