@HollandSpeedway • @TbennettTimothy • #NASCAR • HOLLAND, NY – Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex management postponed the Awards Banquet from Saturday November 22 to Friday January 9, 2015 due to the snowstorm that occurred in the Buffalo metro area this past week.
“With the travel bans still being enforced in the region, everyone’s safety is our top priority” stated Holland’s Public Relations Director Steven Petty. “We appreciate everyone’s understanding and hope that everyone that had reservations are able to attend the banquet on the new scheduled date” Petty added.
Amy Catalano from Ontario, NY earned her second Pro Modified track championship while Dave Whittaker from Orchard Park picked up the NASCAR Late Model crown. Chris Powers from Orchard Park, NY earned his first Hornet championship while Lockport, NY campaigner Jonathan Reid earned the NYPA TQ Midget track championship. Darren Lenhardt from West Seneca, NY earned the first divisional crown for the Future 4’s. The track champions will be representing Holland at the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Banquet to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina in December.
The annual Awards Dinner and Banquet will be taking place on Friday January 9, 2015 at the Millennium Hotel on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga, next to the Walden Galleria. The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm with appetizers with dinner being served at 7:00pm and awards being awarded at 8:00pm..
The Bennett family along with the entire staff and management of the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex would like to thank all the drivers, crews and fans for supporting the track and wishes everyone a safe and joyous holiday season and hopes to see everyone back to the highbanks for the 2015 racing season.
