TORONTO, ON – Canada’s top motorsport magazine is looking for a spirited, confident and dedicated ‘ground floor’ Administrative Assistant / Sales Representative to join its advertising team. The company’s products include Inside Track Motorsport News (print and online), the Canadian Motorsports Expo and more than a dozen Official Series Programs and Event Programs. The key qualities we’re looking for are: attention to detail, a willingness to learn, a passion for Canadian racing, and an inclination toward sales.
The successful candidate will be tasked with learning our systems, working as an administrative support to our senior sales team, updating contacts, sourcing new leads and selling ads on the magazine’s website.
You should be driven to provide excellent customer service and be fluent in written and spoken English. Computer literacy including a strong knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel are a must. We prefer that applicants have some sales experience, with an affinity for motorsports. You should have your own reliable transportation, as some weekend work at racing events and tradeshows is also required throughout the year.
Interested and qualified candidates should email their resume with a cover letter to David Weber at firstname.lastname@example.org or fax to (519) 869-8878. We thank everyone for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
