@FTMSpeedway • Varney ON- (June 22, 2015)-  Under near perfect weather conditions for the first time this season fans were treated to some more great side by side edge of your seat racing action this past Friday night at Full Throttle Motor Speedway.

In the Winged Modified class it was the #33 Tom Houghton from Kitchener still dominating the class with both feature wins.  Although his fellow competitors are getting closer to his back bumper they still have not been able to catch him yet.  In feature one second would go to #0 Cliff Hodgkinson from Breslau, third #10 Christopher Hale from Guelph, and fourth would be #46 Lisa Hodgkinson from Breslau.  Feature two would see second go to #10 Christopher Hale, third #0 Cliff Hodgkinson and fourth #46 Lisa Hodgkinson.

The Thunder Car class this night saw a lower than normal car count due to other commitments by drives so to give the fans a great show the Thunder Cars where raced at the front of the Street Stock class giving fans a chance to watch a race within a race.  First in each feature this night would be the #17 of Tristan Gill from Waterloo, second in feature one would go to #36 Gary Elliott from Waterdown followed by #34 Gregg Rauscher from Thorold.  Feature two would see second go to #34 Rauscher as the #36 of Elliott was caught up in an early race wreak.

In the Street Stock class fans were treated to some outstanding racing action as this class continues to grow each week.  Feature one came down to a restart and a one lap shoot out and in the end it would be the #01 Travis Farrow from Holstein edging out #35 Mike Thebeau from Mitchell for the win.  Third was #20 Ryan Edwards-Kiss from Londesboro, fourth #3 Mark King from Hillsburgh and fifth #1 Bob Parsons.  Feature two would see #35 Mike Thebeau get his car out front and not fall to a late race caution this time as he took home the checker flag.  Second was #20 Ryan Edwards-Kiss, third #5 Dave Grey Jr from Hanover, fourth #6 Rob Wark, and rounding out the top five #01 Travis Farrow.

Fun Stock action this week saw a record number of cars on the track as 21 cars would take on the highbanks plus each other to see who would come out on top this week.  In feature one it would be the #84 Andrea Parsons from Clifford continuing her winning ways as she was able to work her car through traffic and make it to the lead by half way and not look back.  Second in this feature would go to #0 Nick Clarke from Clifford, third #48 John Green from Drayton, fourth #5 Jeramy Duguay from Hanover and fifth #18 Cory Eccles from Chesley.  Feature two turned into a caution filled event in the end it would be #0 Nick Clarke out battling and out rubbing the #32 Tim Schmidt from Walkerton for the win.  Third would go to #5 Jeramy Duguay, fourth #71 Justin McKague from Teeswater and fifth #14 Luke Bos from Conn.

Once again our drivers were not only competing for regular purse money, but also prizes of nearly $100,000 thanks to Contingency Connection Racer Rewards and nearly 100 NATIONAL Performance Manufacturers.   Next racing action at Full Throttle is this coming Friday June 26th for our Future Stars Night featuring the Jr Late Models and Mini Trucks plus Fun Stocks, Mini Stocks, Street Stocks and Crazy Trains with a fan “King Of The Hill” at intermission, gates open at 5PM with racing starting at 7:30PM.
