AVONDALE, AZ – Canada's DJ Kennington wraps up his 2017 race season at a track where he has extensive experience competing in each of NASCAR's top racing divisions.

STONY PLAIN, AB. (July 12) - Bruce Broughton certainly had high hopes for the 2013 race season. Unfortunately the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series competitor will be watching the remainder of the season from the sidelines as the 44-year old suffered a heart attack on July 4th. The good news is that Broughton is now resting comfortably at home.

EDMONTON, AB – The long off-season comes to an end this weekend for drivers and teams of the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series. This Saturday and Sunday, the 13th consecutive race season kicks off with a double-header weekend at two tracks.

Edmonton, AB- Over the past decade Northern Provincial Pipelines Ltd. has been a race car sponsor at many NASCAR events south of the border. This summer, Western Canada's toughest racing Series 'on the dirt' welcomes some NASCAR star power to its line-up for a special night of racing.

KELOWNA, BC - Western Canada's toughest racing Series on the dirt has always attracted unique drivers and personalities. When one of Canada's top Monster Truck competitors took the wheel of a Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series race car at the 2003 Oilmen's Invitational weekend in Edmonton, it was anyone's guess how he'd react. "I had never raced on an oval before," recalls Marvin Anderson of his August 31st, 2003 debut, "I was a monster truck driver. I go over cars."

MERRITT, BC - Record crowds and record temperatures welcomed the debut of the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series in British Columbia on the August long weekend. Trevor Emond kept his cool in a 'borrowed' race car and scored his 33rd and 34th career NPP Series Feature victories.

Former NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion DJ Kennington is returning to a race track that he's had a lot of success at recently. This weekend Kennington will once again pilot the #81 Northern Provincial Pipelines entry from Bill McAnally Racing in the season opening K & N Pro Series West event at Phoenix International Raceway.
