SASKATOON, SK – It is with determination and consistency that Louis-Philippe Dumoulin, at the wheel of the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare Dodge, crossed the finish line in seventh position during yesterdays event at the Auto Clearing Speedway, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. While acquiring confidence and experience, the Quebec driver concluded the Western Canadian swing with a personal best oval track finish of the season.

Louis-Philippe Dumoulin and only eight other drivers completed the race on the leading lap (six caution flags – 46/250 laps). Eighth during the practice session, he took the Velocity Prairie Thunder starting grid in the eleventh position. Side-by-side with the veterans, the 2011 NASCAR Canadian Tire Rookie of the Year fought for his position with fervency and strategic passes, realizing his third top-10 finish of the season in the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare Dodge.

« I fought during the entire race and the last four laps were the determining ones, especially in terms of passing. I was two laps down when we made minor adjustments to the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare car, this enabled us to reposition ourselves on the leading lap. It was a good race, the team worked very hard and it paid off », shares Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.
