Fowl Mood's Potts Scores Third Consecutive Top 5 at Brighton

Fowl Mood Racing's Canadian Modified driven by Team Owner Stu Archer.

May 20, 2013: After earning a pair of fourth place finishes to start the 2013 season at Brighton Speedway, Phil Potts and the Fowl Mood Racing Late Model team were looking to improve on that this past week. Stu Archer was also back behind the wheel of his Canadian Modified, looking to gain more experience and build on their program with each race.

Styres Claims SOS Opener at Brighton Speedway

Teammates Glenn Styres, Jamie Collard and Keith Dempster swept the podium at Brighton Speedway in the Southern Ontario Sprints season opener

May 18, 2013- A solid field of 23 cars arrived at Brighton Speedway for the first race of the 2013 Sanderson Tier and Automotive Southern Ontario Sprints season presented by Noco Fuels and Rock 107. At the end of the 20 lap feature the near capacity crowd was left with a memorable finish as teammates Glenn Styres, Jamie Collard and Keith Dempster swept the podium.

Brighton Speedway Kicks off the 2013 Season This Weekend

Brighton Speedway's 2013 racing season will kick off with the Parade of Champions through downtown Brighton all in support of the Brighton Fare Share Food Bank

Brighton, ON- The 2013 season will get off to an exciting start this weekend as the stars and cars of the Brighton Speedway take to fast 1/3rd mile oval this Saturday for the first time to start their quest for a championship title.

BRIGHTON, ON- After winning back to back features at Brighton Speedway, Greg Belyea was aiming for three in a row as he continues his second half surge towards the top of the standings in the 2012 season. Charlie Sandercock was also in action this week with the Excel Tower Racing Sprint car, leaving the comforts of their home track Brighton Speedway and hitting the road to Ohsweken Speedway and South Buxton Raceway.

Fowl Mood Racing Gets Back on Track With Top Five Finish at Brighton Speedway on Saturday Night

BRIGHTON, ON - The last few weeks at Brighton Speedway haven’t gone the way Phil Potts and the Fowl Mood Racing team had hoped. Although they did score their third win of the season just a few weeks ago, they have been hampered by some bad luck over the last month that included back to back DNFs, and a ninth place finish a week earlier with carburetor issues slowing them down most of the night.

BRIGHTON: Belyea grabs the checkered flag

Greg Belyea of Excel Tower Service and driver of the #25 Late Model grabbed the checkered flag Saturday night at Brighton Speedway but the real winner’s are the children who will receive the 350 toys collected in support of the Toy Drive presented by Belyea and his family.

BRIGHTON, ON - Mother Nature must be a fan of Brighton Speedway this season. As impending clouds gave way to sunshine in the afternoon, drivers, crew and fans made their way to the 1/3-mile clay oval for another action packed night of excitement.

BRIGHTON: Winged Warriors back to the track

Star 93.3 presentation of the race program at Brighton Speedway saw #25 Greg Belyea take the feature win in the Vanderlaan Building Supplies Pro Late Model Division.

Fans filled the stands Saturday in anticipation of the fourth visit of the Southern Ontario Sprint cars to Brighton Speedway on Star 93.3 night. The weather was hot and the action on the track was even hotter as eighteen SOS drivers put on a fast paced show that went green to checker without a caution.

BRIGHTON SPEEDWAY: Another podium for Caley Weese

CARRYING PLACE, ON - Caley Weese charged to another top-three finish Saturday at Brighton Speedway. The driver of the #77 Dibbits Excavating Pro Late Model battled across the finish line with fellow competitor Corey Earl, missing the 2nd position by mere feet. The female racer was slightly disappointed with the finish after running 2nd for most of the laps in the 30-lap feature event.

SOS/BRIGHTON: Styres returns to victory lane

Greg Belyea #25 takes home his second feature finish in front of full grandstands at Brighton Speedway on Saturday night.

BRIGHTON, ON - A full house filled the stands at Brighton Speedway on Saturday as Watson Building Supplies and Aaron Auto presented the first ever SOS Showdown brought to you by Ultramar. Up for grabs was a top prize of $2,500.00 to the winner of the 25-lap main event, which as the biggest payout ever for an SOS event.
