After a 27-lap battle, two late-race restarts and a three day review process, Tony "The Gun" Tiemersma exited week-2 with his first Limited Late Model victory of the young 2012 season. With 3 laps remaining, it appeared as though the win would be settled between provincial heavyweights "Mr. Excitement" Chris Morrow (No. 11 Morrow Electric/Contractor Rental Supply Chevrolet) and Mike "Lights Out" Bentley (No. 51 Dave Bentley Motorsports Chevrolet). The pair had waged war from the drop of the green flag, swapping the lead 4 times over 27 laps, with the battle intensifying with each passing lap.
Waterbury, VT – Tim, TJ, and Vanna Brackett have sent entries for the American Canadian Tour Armed Forces 150 this coming Sunday May 20. This will be the first time a father and daughter have raced together in an ACT race.

RIVER GLADE, NB (May 15, 2012) - Petty International Raceway will roar to life this Saturday to start its second season which promises to bring even more excitement to regional race fans than last year. This season, Parker Traves is following in his father's footsteps, ready to take on his rookie season Mini Stock division at Sunset Speedway. "I'm kinda nervous heading into the season cause there are some big names in the Mini Stock field but I think we got the car and capabilities to run with them," the son of OSCAAR Competitor Albert Traves states.

Mack DeMan was the class of the field for the Lucas Oil Can-Am Midgets' first race of their 47th season at Flamboro Speedway (Ont.). Starting 3rd after qualifying with a win in his heat race, DeMan took the lead on lap 7 from Chris Holman and walked away from the field.
