Speedway 660 sold!

FREDERICTON, NB - Steve Burns and Chris Johnston announced today that the Speedway has been sold to two local families, Max and Shawna Roy and Gary and Debbie Foley. The ownership transfer takes effect immediately.

FREDERICTON, NB - Farmington, Maine's Cassius Clark is the 2012 Auto Value 250 champion. Clark capped off an impressive SpeedWeekend run at Speedway 660 to take the checkered flag in Atlantic Canada's biggest
short track race of the season. The Pro All Star Series points leader won the race ahead of second place D.J. Shaw from Center Conway, New Hampshire and Matt Harris from Fredericton Junction.

FREDERICTON, NB -Burton's, Glyn Nott is the 2012 Martin's Home Heating Champion at Speedway 660. After thirteen years in the division Nott finally earned the title that has eluded him over the years. Nott trailed Sportsman point leader Randy Moore by 17 points heading into the Fan Appreciation Night of Champions. But Nott won his heat, dash and the feature to claim the championship.

FREDERICTON, NB - Ken MacKenzie won the Martin's Home Heating Firecracker 150 at Speedway 660 on Saturday night. MacKenzie passed his friend Dave O'Blenis to win the three thousand dollar first place prize
money in one of Atlantic Canada's biggest Sportsman races of the season.

SPEEDWAY 660: Double-whammy weekend on tap

Fans can expect intense racing action when Speedway 660 opens its gates for an exciting double-whammy-weekend. Sportsman drivers will compete in the Martin’s Home Heating Firecracker 150 at 7 p.m. on Saturday, followed by the Enduro 200 at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

SPEEDWAY 660: Rowe wins Pro Stock 150

FREDERICTON, NB - Ben Rowe claimed an exciting victory in the Best of the Best Pro Stock 150 at Speedway 660 on Saturday night. The Turner, ME, driver also earned a guaranteed starting position in the Auto Value 250 on SpeedWeekend. Rowe, driving for the Hal O’Neal Racing team, was happy to get the win for his New Brunswick racing friends.

FREDERICTON, NB - Charlotte County’s Greg Fahey had a big night at Speedway 660 on Saturday, winning the A.L. Gullison Disaster Kleenup Pro Stock feature during the Coca-Cola Refreshments Weekly Points Series event.

FREDERICTON, NB - Shawn Tucker became the first two-time Parts for Trucks Tour winner of 2012 by taking the checkers at the Atlantic Dodge Dealers 100 Saturday night at Speedway 660. Tucker took over the lead just before the halfway point and endured a 90-minute rain delay before claiming the win.
