On the Inside Track blog, I reference a story that talks about three big-league racing facilities being on the drawing board for the Ft. Erie / Niagara Falls (ON) region.

It's at: http://insidetracknews.blogspot.com/2009/04/im-building-f1-track-in-ontario-and-so.html

Will any / some / all of them ever be built?

That bowling guy looks disturbingly alike to a motorsports editor I know... Smiley

It's been proven so many times that running a short track facility in Canada is like financial suicide, let alone building one.  Damn it would be nice if we could hit a big track for a Cup or Nationwide race that isn't 6-8 hours away...but the reality is probably closer to Spencer's take on it.

As a side note, we need a BIG track here, not just a one miler!  1 vote here for Talladega North!!

You guys just need to move closer to the falls or sarnia. Then it's only a 2-3 hour commute to a cup track.  Grin

Love to see it but it will never happen. Look at all the property that's at Mosport & the talks about building an oval there. It needs a lot of work to make it F1/IRL ready but they can't seem to make it happen.
