PINECREST SPEEDWAY REUNION 2012

  I just heard from someone who's father raced at Pinecrest Speedway, that a reunion is panned for May 19th at the Pinecrest Restaurant. Basically where the track used to stand.  The last one they had five or six years ago was kind of neat. It would be nice if Sunset Speedway could do something the same night. A lot of Pinecrest drivers also raced at Sunset. Spread the word and support this event.

   That would be great too.  If the Pinecrest reunion is a Go...I'd like more info.

   I went into the Pinecrest Restaurant today. They haven't heard from anyone about the chance of a reunion. I have someone who knows who's behind the rumor of a reunion to find out more. When I find out more I'll post more. I hope it does happen.

  I just heard again the there is supposed to be a Pinecrest Speedway reunion on May 19th. Has anyone else heard anything? Outside of going over to the Pinecrest Restaurant were it's supposed to be, I don't know who else to ask.

  So there was a C.N.E. and Pinecrest reunion at the Pinecrest Restaurant on the weekend. A week ago at the restaurant nobody knew anything. If I would have known I would have been there. Where and when was the word put out? There are a lot of pictures on the OSCAAR page. I tried to get the word out but it would have been nice if the information would have posted by those the knew for sure.

FYI-Former track champ Tom Milligan was sitting ahead of us at Humberstone Sunday night at the Fastrak tour race. His son Paul is driving a Fastrak late model for Miskin Racing out of Port Colborne (car m5). Forgot to ask him about the reunion. (The car has a small #23 decal on the front fender btw)
