kicking myself that I didn't go back for a second week. 32 late models plus supporting divisions. George Skora, Glenn Gault, Will Thomas top three. Kyle Busch scored as 5th by track scorers but shows 7th on mylaps!!! $25.00 Kyle and Kurt gave FREE autographs
track is an hour and 15 minutes from downtown Buffalo along I-90 west ($3.15 toll)

hey mike i went down to watch the race - not a bad race. kyle only had 3 short practice sessions in the back up of will thomas. they were late getting to track because of a rain delay at pocono. kyle just seemed to struggle with the set-up in the car and after the race made a comment that if he come next year it will be in something different ( maybe his own car) ? awesome field of cars lots of side by side racing . i think lake erie speedway is well organized clean track. also can't beat how they do the fire balls at the start of each classes features and the fire works at the end .

glad you went Rob-fireworks after every show and what a showplace. Those fireballs are neat and just waiting for the trees to catch on fire-lol. The show we attended last week was in the books by 9:30; Mod 25 lapper and lm 40 lapper ran caution free. I think I can take or leave the Bandoleros but I guess they're a good class for kids. Interesting that the infield is 100% paved.
Wish they could get a Whelen mod race there again and hopefully they'll advertise the place a bit more this side of the border (not that they need bigger crowds). I recognized a lot of fan and driver refugees from Holland Speedway
