Fuelled by a passion for motorsports and a single-minded determination to succeed on the race track, Michael Broderick, 18, looks to embark on an exciting career in NASCAR and one day join other fellow Canadians who have been fortunate enough to compete in several Nationwide Series events.
The combination of oval and road course events that make up the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series schedule would present a unique and exciting challenge for Michael. Joining the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series would be a welcome opportunity for Broderick to share his passion for motor sports with Canadian fans.

Michael has competed in the New Brunswick South East Challenge-Four Fun Series (formerly known as the Thundercat Series for three consecutive seasons and looks to take his racing career to the next level.  For further information  on Michael Broderick or to inquire on potential driving opportunities, please contact Kim Powell via email at kim_powell2002@yahoo.ca

I knew that looked familiar the first time I read it. Here is the full PR:

Canadian Driver Michael Broderick Looks to Embark on Career in NASCAR Nationwide Series
Posted On 11/16/2009 1:49:13 PM

When Broderick, 18, of Moncton New Brunswick manoeuvres his #3 Barn Yard BBQ Honda Civic around the race track each week, he doesn’t hear the roaring engines or see the dust kicked up by the other cars ahead. He has his sights on something else: the checkered flag!

Battling a barrage of car issues in the 2009 season, it was anything but the kind of season Michael was hoping for. A true reflection of his talent was, unfortunately, not showcased in the 2009 season where he raced six out of the eight events. Michael collected two top five finishes and four top ten finishes in the New Brunswick South East Challenge (Four Fun Series). Michael closed out the season ninth in the overall point standings.
BarnYard BBQ continued their sponsorship for the third consecutive season. Their financial support has been greatly appreciated by Michael. Without their support, it wouldn’t be possible for Broderick to ensure the continued growth and development of his race team.

Additional sponsorship is always welcomed and appreciated. By sponsoring Michael Broderick, you can enhance your corporate image and send a message to the people who use your services and equipment. In addition to the opportunity to communicate directly with a highly-focussed market, sponsors also have their logo/name printed on marketing materials and the intangible benefits that accrue from supporting a race program. Sponsors are welcome to participate at many levels.

Fuelled by a passion for motorsports and a single-minded determination to succeed on the race track, Broderick is hungry to make his presence known in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Broderick eagerly awaits his opportunity to join other fellow Canadians who have been fortunate enough to compete in several Nationwide Series events. D.J. Kennington of St. Thomas, Ontario has competed regularly in the NASCAR Nationwide Series since 2007, while J.R. Fitzpatrick of Cambridge, Ontario has competed in several Nationwide Series events over the last two seasons and has raced in select events in the Camping World Truck Series for team owner Kevin Harvick.

The combination of oval, superspeedways and road course events that make up the NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule would present a unique and exciting challenge for Michael. The Series also allows budding stock car talents with aspirations to compete at NASCAR's top level, the opportunity to gain experience, refine their skills and showcase their abilities at 26 tracks in North America. Joining the NASCAR Nationwide Series would be a welcome opportunity for Broderick to share his passion for motor sports and showcase his talent with other up-and-coming drivers.

For further information on Michael Broderick or to inquire on potential driving opportunities, please contact Kimberley Powell via email at kim_powell2002@yahoo.ca We would like to extend an invitation to you to discuss in further detail how Michael could be an asset to your race team.
