Any schmuck can be a cheerleader, if that's what you're really looking for.
I guess with car counts declining, fan bases diminishing, tracks closing, sponsors leaving and media diminishing in light of gains being made in other disciplines of motorsport, the pavement scene really is a ****ing picnic, isn't it?

maybe you should have went to a LM race this year, counts were up, no real difference at the front gate (up or down)....to many trips to the enduro races for you i guess, where counts have been dropping off the last few years

You did notice how the car counts dropped off after the Canada Day weekend wreckfest, right? Much less where some of those cars went? You did notice the disappearance of some of the special events, and the reduction of others, right? You did notice the disappearance of sponsors from said events, and from presenting the LM class itself, right? You have taken into account the issues with other tracks with the same types of LMs in the area, right?
I think as of right now, unless the track's done a bunch of work which nobody knows about (including those who the track would working on with said work), you're going to find that last year's counts were an anomaly. The thing is, with even a little bit of foresight and cohesive long-term planning, it doesn't have to be that way. The stuff that's being done now isn't it by a long shot.

most of the stuff you just posted was addressed at the meeting.......so that's enough for me on this post, might wanna do some more research, no point in me to keep going on with this stuff, just seems to be a waste of typing

So how were all of the above points framed to be good things for the class? Feel free to share with the class, here.

Me thinks Jason is right on this one. Every track that want to run Late Models wants be to be an entity by it's self. Others in this thread question why Delaware and Flamboro can't share the same cars. For me, the stupid race fan I would think it would be a good thing. People have said it's the travel. Last time I looked the two tracks weren't on opposite sides of the province. If common sense and a common set of rules doesn't soon prevail we may not have Late Model racing as a weekly division. If I'm off the mark here; I'm sure we"ll hear about it. Whats the OSA going to do to help this situation.

How can you hear a solution from someone who's not even aware of the problem?
Oh, and I wouldn't expect the OSA to do much on this, if all the discussion is true.

Doubt if Hanley will run a crate engine, but I wouldn't be suprised to see him show up with the McGunegill GM Equalizer LM engine, which is listed just under $17,000.00 US.
